I waited for this headset to be released for many months, I was very excited to use this for my PC. It was wonderful, for the first month. That's when the static started when talking to my friends on Mumble, a chat program similar to Ventrilo. The static got so bad that no one could understand me. Then the right earphone went dead unless I bent the cord a certain way around the base of the connector to the amplifier.
That was the FIRST headset I ordered. I did an RMA and returned it, since they wouldn't give me my money back. Took almost a month to get a new one sent to me. It's been about three weeks since I've had this second Z6a and just a little bit ago the left earphone has given out. I can only hear if the cord is bent a certain way around the base where it connects to the earphone. I would HIGHLY recommend you stay away from this headset. I will never buy from Turtle Beach ever again. Steelseries is my next stop.
